In plain English: We only ask for the details we need to quote and run your move, we never sell them to lead buyers or other movers, and you can email [email protected] any time to see, correct, or delete what we hold.
Elite Shed Movers is an owner-run moving company based at 222 Central Park Ave, Suite 1000, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. This page lays out what we collect when you reach out for an estimate or book a move across Hampton Roads, and what we do (and don’t do) with it.
Information We Collect
Almost everything we hold is what you hand us directly. When you fill out our quote form, write to our Town Center office, or talk through your move with us, we record the basics needed to price and schedule the job:
- Your name and the best way to reach you, including email
- The pickup and drop-off addresses, plus access notes like stairs, elevators, or parking near the door
- Approximate size of the move and your target date or PCS window
- Any special items you flag, such as a piano, gun safe, or fragile coastal antiques
Separately, our web host and analytics may log routine technical data, browser, device type, and which pages you opened, the same way most Virginia Beach business sites do.
How We Use What You Share
The point of collecting any of this is to get your move done. We use your details to build an estimate, confirm the date, dispatch one of our crews, and check in after the truck is unloaded.
Quoting and Scheduling
We turn your inventory and addresses into a flat written rate and hold a slot on the calendar, including the weekday slots we keep open for short-notice and PCS moves.
Running the Job
Our dispatcher and the crew driving your truck use your address and access notes to plan the route through Hampton Roads and arrive ready to load.
Records and Claims
As a registered Virginia household-goods mover, we keep order and valuation records for the time the law requires and for any claims window.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell your information, and we are not a broker passing your move down a list of carriers, the crew that quotes your job is the crew that drives it. The only outside parties that ever touch your data are the vendors who help us operate and any disclosure the law compels.
| Who | Why they see it |
|---|---|
| Payment processor | To charge your card or run a deposit securely |
| Scheduling and dispatch software | To put your job on the board and route the truck |
| Email and hosting providers | To deliver our replies and keep the site online |
| Courts or agencies | Only when a valid legal request requires it |
Cookies and Site Analytics
Like most sites, ours sets a few cookies and runs basic analytics so pages load right and we can see which Hampton Roads services people read most. You can switch cookies off in your browser settings; the site still works, though a form may not remember what you typed.
How Long We Keep It and Your Choices
We hold your information only as long as your move and our records actually need it, then it ages out. You stay in control the whole time:
- Email [email protected] to ask what we have on file
- Tell us to correct anything that’s wrong or out of date
- Request deletion once your job and any claims period are closed
If we revise this policy, the updated version goes here with a fresh date, so the page you’re reading is always the one in force.
